You pick a character, survive the swarm, and grab upgrades every time you level up. It is free to play in the browser with nothing to install, and it usually runs unblocked at school or work wherever browser games are allowed.
What Endless Waves Survival is
It is an action roguelike with bullet-hell pacing. Each run drops you into an arena against a continuous stream of enemies, and your only job is to stay alive. Killing enemies levels you up, and each level lets you pick a new ability or upgrade, so a basic character grows into something much stronger by the end of a run. There is no finish line; the run ends when you die.
How to control your character
Movement and dodging carry the whole game, so the controls stay simple. A gamepad works if you prefer one.

Characters and builds

Loot and the shop
Loot you collect during a run unlocks items in the shop. Before your next run you can buy potions and buffs there, so a failed run still moves your progress forward and sets up a stronger attempt.
Tips for a longer run
Small habits add up across runs.
- Keep moving; standing still ends runs fast.
- Use dash to escape a swarm, not just to travel.
- Commit to one build rather than spreading upgrades thin.
- Spend loot on shop items that fit your main character.
